Cut scrub cap fabric pieces laid out and ready for assembly

Scrub Cap Update: Cutting, Crafting, and Creative Curiosities

Hey everyone! Popping in with a little update on where things stand with preorders, plus some behind-the-scenes creative chaos.

Preorder Progress

Good news: all the fabric for the preorders has been cut! The next step is ironing out the tie pieces, which is a bit more time-consuming — but I'm chipping away at them as fast as I can. Thank you so much for your patience while I work through them.

Between Shifts: Baking & Drawing

In between sewing sessions, I've been keeping myself sane with a little baking — most recently, some matcha brownies that turned out pretty great -- they were completely cleared by my coresidents when I brought them to work.

I've also been doing drawing while on shifts at work, and this Psyduck has been sitting on a desk for over a month now. He's confused. Honestly, same. It's hard work being a senior!

The Esophagoose Experiment

For those following the esophagoose saga: I made a prototype goose out of our liner paper. Yes, paper. And it actually worked — who knew you could sew paper?! It's a little stiff, a little crinkly, and honestly kind of perfect. Turning these little pieces around was a bit much so it'll probably end up going into the ~secret PR box~ I'm working on instead of an actual product (I doubt the recipient will read this blog so posting it here).

What's on the Horizon

I've been in contact with a print-on-demand group that might be able to do scrubs — like esophagoose scrubs? I'm exploring what that could look like and nothing is confirmed yet, but stay tuned!

As always, thank you for your support. It genuinely means the world to me to be able to have a creative space with people who are appreciative.

Peace, Love, Propofol,
